Location is so important when choosing a venue to host your party. If you have people travelling from all over, you are going to need a venue that is close to transport links and not too far from the motorway, making it simple for people to find and avoid getting lost in a town/city they are not familiar with.  

You also must think about parking. A venue with no parking can be a nightmare for your guests, often resulting in them having to go to the trouble of searching for an alternative place to park which can sometimes be quite a distance from the venue.  

Luckily, here at Mercure Bolton, we are located just 0.5 miles from the M61 and less than 5 minutes by car from the train station. We also have safe, secure, and complimentary on-site parking for up to 300 cars, so there is no getting lost and no need to find parking which can be costly elsewhere.

And we do not do things by halves round here, so no matter which option you choose, our food does not just   taste great, but it is presented in a way that will get your guests taking photos for the ‘gram or Snapchat before tucking in to their food.

There are so many ways to transform our suites into the perfect setting for any celebration. From elegant and sophisticated centrepieces, fun and vibrant balloon displays, ceiling decorations and of course, our favourite, the use of clever ambiance lighting. 

We can offer you different ideas to align with your theme and budget to ensure that your party stand out from the rest. You also benefit from having a dedicated venue dresser with a showroom on-site so you can come in to see what your party could look like!

Accommodation & Accessibility – For guests who want to make a night of it! 

You may have guests that live far away that you really want to be at your event but it’s too far for them to drive to and from in one day. Well fear not! Everyone is invited to your party with us as we will offer your guests discounted bedrooms for the night of your party. This is convenience at it’s best.  

We have 91 bedrooms at Mercure Bolton with a range of twin, double, family, and accessible bedrooms. We also include breakfast and access to our spa facilities so they can really unwind before they make the journey home. 

All our suites are fully accessible with accessible toilets located nearby so no one must miss the fun!
