The organisation of the wedding day was fantastic and thank you to Rochelle the wedding planner. Your organising skills made our day very special.
The food of afternoon tea with a Alice in Wonderland twist for our wedding breakfast was out of this world along with fish and chip supper in the evening also fabulous and thank you to the chef for making such wonderful food.
The venue- the food and the support from staff -would definitely recommend it. You are brilliant.
We had our special day on the 2nd September & it was everything we wished for and more staff were amazing with me and my bridesmaids the night before the wedding they made sure we had everything we needed and supplied us all with pastries and Prosecco on the morning,
Rochelle and Chris were fantastic with us the whole day of the wedding making sure everything ran smoothly.
We had our wedding here on Saturday. All we can say is wow!! It was amazing from start to finish, the service was outstanding, as was the food and everything else. We would like to say a huge thank you and show our gratitude to Rochelle our wedding planner. She went above and beyond from start to finish and her support was outstanding. We will definitely recommend her and the Hotel.
We had the best day of our lives and it was all thanks to Rochelle and her team. Rochelle went above and beyond to make our day so very special. This had been booked for two years and a lot of planning and hard work had gone into this. Nothing was any trouble for Rochelle. She kept me informed of everything ahead of the event and during the event. She is very professional in every aspect of her job. She works long hours to accommodate everyone and their needs. This was a fairytale wedding renewal which went above and beyond our expectations. All I can say is ask for Rochelle if you need a wedding of any description. You will not be disappointed. Carry on doing what you do Rochelle. You are amazing at your job x
We very recently celebrated our wedding reception here & we have nothing but wonderful things to say! Rochelle, Chris & the team are amazing! Nothing was too much hassle, Rochelle was always on hand answering my questions and calming my nerves! The food was outstanding (so many of our guests complimented the food), the bar staff are so friendly (a special shout-out to Irene who always made our visits special).
Myself and my now husband had our wedding at the Georgian House on Saturday 6th August 2022 and I honestly can’t thank Rochelle enough for all her help leading up to the wedding! She was so responsive on her emails whenever I had a question and she put my mind at ease if I had any worries. We had several meetings with Rochelle in the lead up and she was always so professional, friendly, and helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us.
We had to find a venue and organize a wedding within 7 weeks due to a family illness
We searched venues went and viewed a few but the difference was when we went to view the Bolton Mercure hotel.
Rochelle the wedding coordinator made us feel so welcoming and put our mind at ease straight away and made us feel more certain that we could achieve what we wanted in such a short space of time
Throughout the whole process and organizing Rochelle bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect and took alot of stress away from us kept us up to date and checked in regular
First of all I would just like to thank all the team at Mercure Georgian House Hotel for being so helpful throughout the whole planning of our wedding and on the big day itself. They went above and beyond for us in every way, they could not do enough for us and for that we just want to thank them for everything, they have been truly amazing. The room was decorated beautifully in our chosen colour scheme and decorations, the food was gorgeous, the venue itself and the grounds are lovely and so picture perfect, the staff are all really friendly and ourselves and all our guests commented on how accommodating and welcoming they all were. My only wish is that we could do it all over again! I would highly recommend the Mercure Georgian House Hotel to any of our family, friends, or anyone else thinking of booking an event somewhere.
Mercure Georgian House Hotel Bolton, where do we begin. Our wedding day was amazing all thanks to your team! We couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day. The attention to detail you went into to make everything perfect and making sure us and our guests where happy, you all went above and beyond for us! Rochelle and Chris you guys where so lovely in planning our wedding. No amount of emails and phone calls was too much for you. Rochelle coming in on your day off to make sure everything went the way you hoped it would. The little details you did to make your venue look perfect for us and even coning off part of the car park so we could get the perfect pictures. Nothing was too much trouble to have the wedding we wanted. The hotel and grounds is so beautiful with the gorgeous view of Rivington. The food was lovely and service was great. All the staff at the hotel was so lovely and welcoming to everyone. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or event. 5* recommendation.
